Dennis took up Xterra Adventure racing, was 2nd at the Masters National Championships and 8th at the Masters World Championships in Maui.  He was the overall Cheyenne Sprint Triathlon winner and won the Indian Peaks Xterra race.  In 2008, Dennis won the Masters National Stage Race Championships, was 3rd in the Masters Tour of the Gila, and placed highly in other local Colorado and national races. In 2007, Dennis won the Cycle to The Sun Hill Climb, the FIAA Masters National Hill Climb Champ ionships and the Colorado Masters State Cyclocross Championships. He competed in the 2007 Tour of Southland Stage race in New Zealand.

Other interests: Dennis is an engineer at Lockheed Martin, and spends his spare time with his wife Pam and their two dogs.
